After one more stop in the Falklands to see more penguins and albatross and stretch our legs on a long walk, we traveled to Ushuaia, Argentina, the southernmost city in the world. Ushuaia has grown rapidly to 65,000 due to tourists coming to see Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego, and to set sail for Antarctica. It’s a beautiful location nestled in a protected bay below snow-covered peaks. We arrived in a snowstorm that dropped about an inch while it was getting dark, but we awoke to sunshine and warmth. A quick tour of the city and we were off to the airport for a long journey home. Another great trip! Here are a few panorama shots from various places we visited the past few weeks.
